History of Hall Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc.
In 1947 Lawrence (Bud) Hall returned from serving his country in World
War II and started Hall Plumbing, Heating and A/C. For 38 years Bud
and Martha served the city of Bucyrus and the surrounding communities,
providing plumbing, heating, air conditioning and roofing services
to the residents of Crawford County. In 1985 Bud and Martha sold the
business to Gilbert Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning and retired.
George
Gilbert started Gilbert Heating and Air Conditioning in Sandusky,
Ohio, in 1958. George's business strategy was the same as Bud and
Martha's: Provide quality service and take care of the needs of your neighbors.
He continued the
tradition of providing quality service, specializing in residential work.
In
1980 Schrag Plumbing and Heating in Galion, Ohio was sold to Gilbert
Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning and Kevin Wintersteller was
transferred from
Sandusky to Galion to manage the business. With the purchase of Hall Plumbing,
Heating
and A/C in 1985 the two businesses in Crawford County were merged together.
In
1995 Kevin and Diane purchased this division from Gilbert Plumbing,
Heating and A/C. The tradition of providing quality service 24 hours
a day, 7 days
a week continues. We take pride in being recognized as “The Service
Company”.
We promise to continue to provide quality service and the best possible
response to the needs of our neighbors.
